Why are you comparing this game to FPS, especially xbox 360 FPS? Shouldn't you compare this game to Tomb Raider, Uncharted, the latest Metal Gear and DMC because, you know, they are in the same genre?

It is Red Dead Revolver II, The original Capcom game was Red Dead Redemption, it is a spiritual prequel but has nothing to do with Rockstar's game.
Another very detailed review. I will get this game eventually because I am a fan of the series, scores is subjective. But with Tomb Raider and Bioshock and Gears also releasing this month, just have to wait a bit.
Good score. Very well reviewed and very looking forward of playing this game. It is a shame that the multiplayer aspect didn't fair so well but the campaign is what this game is all about.
It better be Red Dead II. That is my favorite game this generation.
Don't even think about releasing Genji: Days of the Blade II, Sony!!! Even though I am pretty sure the Giant Enemy Crab will look fabulous on the PS4. Other than that, Sony was pretty good during the PS3 era.

Love the idea. Like my cell phone, I truly believe in a single unit that does everything I need in the living room. The next xbox can be my game console, my cable box, my Blu Ray player, my digital media hub, and with the added bonus of backward compatibility, I don't need 2 systems in my entertainment unit; thus, saving shelf space. Can't wait for the announcement. Exciting time.

No, it is a cultural thing. Japan is more RPG/Strategy and simulator gaming concentric while the Western World is all about Blood and Gut and Sports. Just like the Xbox will never be accepted in Japan no matter how hard Microsoft try.
I normally don't agree with Pachter, but he is dead on with the Vita. It might do good in Japan, because, well it is Japan, but in the Western World, it has little to no chance of succeeding, I am afraid. Smart phones and the ipads really is changing the landscape of the portable gaming industry. Very unfortunate.

I always thought the only hardcore players are those that play MMORPGs like Warcraft. I mean, I have a cousin that played the game 24/7 for 3 years straight in his parent's basement; the only times he moves is to get food and take a dump. How can you get more hardcore than that?

AAA games are the equivalent to Movie Blockbusters. It is the cost of production and hype surrounding it. Some fails but a lot of then had lived up to the hype. Halo, GeOW, GOW, Uncharted are AAA games that lived up to the hype. Too Human, and Resistance 3 are supposed AAA games that bombed just like Battleship and John Carter did at the box office.
